Pacemaker Checks
What is a pacemaker check?
A pacemaker check is performed regularly in the office to monitor that your pacemaker is functioning properly. Typically these checks are performed in the office every 6 months. There may be times when you are asked to come in more often. You will see a pacemaker rep in our office for your interrogation and any adjustments that are necessary. Adjustments are often done to optimize your performance, the battery life on your device and your overall well being.
We also perform pacemaker checks remotely if your device supports this function. These remote checks do not replace your in office checks but help us to watch and maintain your device every three months that you are not seen in the office.
